NOTES
Masa owned a lot of flutes. He played regularly with Minyo singers, so he had a flute in each length from 1.3 to 2.7.
The flutes listed below are the few remaining flutes from his collection.
As I find time, and get queries about these instruments, I dig them out of the closet and play them for a while. When I do, I'll post my comments about the flutes below.
To audition one of these instruments, contact:
Flutes must be paid in full, including shipping. I accept cashier's checks or postal money orders and ship upon receipt. Orders paid by personal check will be held two weeks.
Full refund of purchase price will be paid on flutes returned postmarked within seven days of date of receipt.
"On Hold" means that someone has contacted me and wants to buy the flute. If you are interested in a flute on hold please let me know.
1.5 maple
A nicer than average piece of maple (actually has some knots and "character" to the grain). This is a new flute. I don't know when Masa would have gotten it, or for what purpose (he had a really nice, bamboo 1.5), but if he went to the trouble of picking it up, he only would have done so if he thought it was a good flute.
$0.02 worth of speculation.
Price: $200
