Greetings
I guess it was just a matter of time till i got to work on doing some
presenting out here like i was doing when i was living in Florida. Starting
in September i will be presenting a monthly music series at the Meridian
Art Gallery which is on Sutter between Mason and Powell in SanFrancisco.
The concerts will take place the first saturday afternoon of each month and
i have an agreement with the gallery to book september through april to
begin with. This series is being funded! So believe it or not there will be
some money to pay musicians to play, a rare thing in this town! :(
The gallery is a very small space with quite live acoustics.
The series will represent my taste in music and will focus on new and
experimental music, world music and live electronic music
I have already booked a couple of slots, Pauline Oliveros solo in October
and John Bischoff solo in February. Other dates are still open.
