In reply to the request about teachers in the UK, I know of two who teach
privately.

There is another teacher at the Institue of African and
Oriental Arts but I believe he dosn't teach privately.
As fo used shakuhachi I know Dan Mayers has a very extensive selection of
shakuhachi available, both
