You bet!!..
As the Shakuhachi is the only melodic instrument used in Zen Buddhism,
almost the entire Meian (or Myoan) Honkyoku repertoire is appropriate for
funeral rites...

The principal is to play the piece for the safe passage of the body into
its next incarnation...

Of course, depending upon who the player is, there are different
"preferred" pieces...

The pieces that I most often play are:
BANSHIKI
NAGASHI-REIBO (Neza-Sa-Ha Repertoire)
(FUTAIKEN) REIBO
