weekend in NYC !!..
April 24- The famous Kyoto Hogaku Group will present the "Kyoto
Experience" , a performance, on traditional Japanese instruments (Koto,
Shamisen, and Shakuhachi), of both modern and traditional repertoire, at
Merkin Hall, in New York City..The performance will be at 8:30 P.M., and
tickets can be purchased from (212) 818-0897...The General admission price
is $20-, with advanced reservations, as well as tickets for seniors or
students being sold at $16-..
April 25- At 3:30 P.M. there will be a Honykoku (Blowing-Meditation)
concert at the New York Martial Arts Dojo.. It will feature Kurahashi
Yoshio Sensei and 6 members of the Kyoto Hogaku Group..Special guest
Artist will be Ronnie Nyogetsu Seldin. Tickets will be $14- at the door,
and $10- for seniors, students, and for those with advance reservations.
