Hello Friends,
'Volume II of the Annuls of the ISS' will be released soon.
More information on availability, like when and where, will
be posted soon. Also, the ISS headquarters is moving from
England to America, and I am the fortunate new president.
In conjunction with the transition I've begun creating a web
site to help share the ISS archives. On the site I am tyring
to post:
A list of shakuhachi related recordings, and their liner notes
Information about shakuhachi, shamisen, koto pieces
Including such things as composers and translations of poems
Information about performers
The majority of the ISS archives still needs to be cataloged
and posted. Nonetheless the site is currently pretty dang big.
I think there are pages for a couple hundred pieces and people
and information for over about 200 recordings. But, the site is
by no means exhaustive (or accurate). I would very much
appreciate everyone's feedback so that I can impove the quality
and completness of my pages.
