Hi all.
May 2002 bring more peace to the world.
I am passing on some sad news that the Hiroshima based Shakuhachi National
Treasure Shimabara Hanzan died on Dec 15, aged 100. I have included an item
by the Japan Times.
I will play "Tamuke" for him and a prayer for his family .
Perhaps there maybe someone on the mailing list that has more information
and if any memorials etc. planned.
