Coloring PVC

I received this and am passing it along:

I read the thread on the list about coloring white PVC - since I'm not a
member pass this along if you wish - SHARPEE magic markers are non-toxic -
use some scocthbrite to clean the flute - color away with the sharpee
markers, they may not be as dark as you might like on the first go'round -
after the first layer dries you can go back over it - when wet you can also
push them around with a clean cloth and get some interesting design patterns
and soft colors - I'm sure many of the other brands of markers may be
