>Hi Mike,

You're in a very low price range and won't be able to get a good
shakuhachi, just a practice one. I have good playing maple 1.8's
from Tadashi Tajima. Good for beginning students. If you can move
up to around $800-$1,000 I have better instruments. The good quality
ones I import from Japan are from around $1,500 to $3,000. You can
check out my web site for more info. or call me at: (206) 364-5685
