I`m not the wise one, so just some suggestions: :-)
I store the flutes in the plastic bags and use the dampits also, since some
years this works quite fine.
About oiling: Ask ten players and yuo will get ten opinions. You can search
the lists archive to get a impression about the comments of the really wise
old man of this business.
