the first set of the concert will feature solo traditional shakuhachi
compositions performed by grandmaster, Yoshio Kurahashi.
The second set will feature modern duets performed by Kurahashi with
Shoko Hikage and Philip Gelb.
Yoshio Kurahashi will be in the San Francisco Bay area that week
offering private lessons and group classes. Details on this will be
sent out shortly.
