My name is Shu-ni Tsou, I work at the Smithsonian Folkways Recordings, a
research-driven recording company that is part of the Smithsonian
Institution, Washington DC. I am currently working on a project on Japanese
music and have come across the music of Asano Umewaka (shamisen master)
from Akita. I need to talk to Asano about some licensing matters but do
not have the contact information. I was wondering if any of you can
contact me if you know how to get hold of Asano, or of anybody who
might be able to help out.
