Hi Gene,

I think you should post a picture of what they sent you. I bought a few from
them about 1-2 years ago and what I received was immature madake - thin
walls, small roots. You can probably make a flute out of them but the bamboo
is definitely not in the same league as the ones you see in the common
market.

You do get what you pay for.
