Just a comment from someone who is not authentic in any sense of the word.
I think some of the better known master teacher/players would differ with your notion of throwing authenticity out the proverbial window. How then could we know what constitutes a master in any of the schools? Or for that matter, what constitutes a ryu? Or a Japanese National Treasure?
That said, I am going to go blow some jinashi hocciku ro and await the flames.<g>
