Cortical steriods will not damage anyone for the time scales we are talking
about,
and if he is having a *severe* allergic reaction, which I doubt, they could
save his life.
So be careful about "prescribing" a course of action when you don't have
*any* idea what is
going on in *his* body. Gene, just go to a doctor if
it keeps getting worse --- an emergency room if you have too,
and find out what is going on first.
