Thanks Justin and others for replying to my innate
inquisitiveness understanding the Shakuhachi. To cut
the whole thing short, the use of the shakuhachi as a
skillful means in buddhism is to help us ultimately
achieved real enlightenment- nothing to become and
nothing to achieve. That is real peace. Please correct
me?
Why I take up chinese transerve bamboo flute now
and may be later to shakuhachi. My work as Executive
chef is a highly demanding ones and when I get home I
am real tired and down and that is where I find solace
holding my bamboo flute and chanting my favourite
mantra saluatation to my teacher Phra mae residing in
the forest in Thailand and others of my favourite
tunes.
I need some help from music expert in this list is
that my music Rhythm(beats)gets mix up and that where
dukka arise?
Have anyone use the shakuhachi to play
AVALOKITESVARA(The Great Compassion Mantra) tune
correctly?
Let me sigh off by sharing one of my favourite
verse "Hatred never cease by hatred in this world; By
love alone they cease. This is an ancient law".

May all be well and happy

Alex

and I feel completely
