Dave,
Still no flute. Did you get a tracking number? Was it sent parcel post or priority?
Thanks,
Tony

Tony,

I have two of John's flutes and both are fine examples of hocchiku. I have a 1.8 and a 2.1, approximately, and both are very easy to play with intervals that are good. I have played the 1.8 along with recorded honkyoku and it blended perfectly.

I would be interested in selling you the 1.8. It all natural without inlay in the utaguchi. As I have about 20 other flutes, I seldom play it and would like to see it go to a good home. It is a root end.

Call me at 352-237-4107 with any questions and I will play it for you over the phone.

I paid $180 for it as I remember, but if you want it, for you the price is $75. I still have the 3.0 shakuhachi grande I got from you on ebay two years ago made by Perry Yung. Damn fine flute! I had an offer to buy if from Peter Phippen, but couldn't turn loose of it.

Let me know.
