Sorry - but this post has nothing to do with shakuhachi but everything to do
with Japanese culture.
Below is a link to a blog by an American on the JET program in Japan. It is
hysterical. Some bits funnier than others, but well worth a visit.
Warning: parts of it are fairly racy, so if you are offended by a bit of R

I hope this is not too much of a distraction from the list's core mission -
