My yuu cracked after it fell on the floor. I was just not as careful with it as I am with bamboo flutes. I used nylon binding with epoxy - it did the job. I still have yuu in my car. However, I keep it disassembled to avoid any joint damage from heat (I don't trust "unbreakable" any more)
