Greetings everyone,
Final Preparations are under way for the First Annual Japanese Music Fest=
ival.
It will be held on July 31 at the Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park in N=
ew York City.
The Hours are 10am to 2pm.
Here is a preview.
The festival will include:
- Local and international performers on the Shakuhachi, Koto and Shamisen.
-Tozan and Kinko schools will both be represented.
- Performances of Honkyoku, Sankyoku, and =A0Minyo. Solos and duets Tradi=
tional and Modern=20
pieces=20
-Koto performances by soloists and ensembles
-Traditional Japanese dance
-Four hours of performances absolutely free=20
