Hi Stav,
Not to mention what it may do to your lungs. I have cleaned several
mold smelling shakuhachi with warm soapy water - running your soaked
cleaning cloth though it many times. I have even run the cleaning
cloth through soaked with alcohol if necessary. No ill effects. I
always oil the outside afterward.
