I have a urgent problem I need to solve in the San Francisco Bay Area:
I need to use an x-ray machine!
No, I haven't broken any bones or the like... but I have some shakuhachi I
would like to x-ray in order to reveal the shape of the bore, which will be
a crucial part of my analysis for the chapter I need to write in order to
upgrade from MPhil to PhD student.
If anybody knows of someone with an x-ray machine... could be a chiropractor
or the like, who would be open enough to let a couple of my friends go down
and have their shakuhachi collection x-rayed, please let me know.
