Peter Hill will be in San Diego on Saturday, Jan 20th, giving private
lessons, and a group lesson. In addition, he will be bringing a number
of shakuhachi for sale, ranging in length from 1.6 to 2.0.

Peter studied the shakuhachi in Japan for more than 10 years, with Yoshio
Kurahashi and Yokoyama Katsuya. He got his shihan from Yokoyama in 2004.
Peter is obviously an excellent shakuhachi player, particularly when it
comes to the Doukyoku repertiore.

People interested in individual lessons can contact me for scheduling.
People who are not interested in lessons, are welcome come down and
spend some of the day with some of San Diego's shakuhachi community.

Peter will begin teaching around 9:00. Other folks will probably gather
around noon to poke at the flutes and talk, and we'll likely have the
group lesson around 2.

For further details, interested parties can contact me at the email
address above, or via telephone at 858/534-0417. I'll be available
at that number today, tomorrow, and again, beginning Tuesday morning.
