Hello everybody.

I hope everyone has had an enjoyable summer (winter for those down-under)!
Japan has suddenly become way more comfortable than just a week ago...

I am at the end of my fieldwork stay in Japan.
For my last presentation I will talk about, among other things, how the
shakuhachi was introduced outside Japan. I have a list of universities where
shakuhachi instructions or workshops have been offered from Steven Casano's
MA thesis (thank you, Steven!). Does anyone know of more universities in
North America where workshops or instruction on shakuhachi have been
offered? The list is as follows:

City University of New York
Columbia University
Florida State University
Naropa University
Oberlin Conservatory
Stanford University
UCLA
University of Colorado
University of Hawai'i, Hilo
University of Hawai'i, Manoa
University of Michigan
Wesleyan University

I have added:
Mills College

Canada:
University of Toronto

best wishes,
Kiku
