Sorry. "hassun" means "eight sun" (ha = eight).

The term is slang for a 1.8, or a true i-shaku, ha-sun (from which
the term shakuhachi originally derives).

Similarly,

1.3 = Sansun
1.4 = Yonsun
1.5 = Gosun
1.6 = Rokusun
1.7 = Nanasun
1.9 = Kyusun
2.0 = Nishaku
2.1 = Nishaku-isun
2.2 = Nishaku-nisun
2.4 = Nishaku-yonsun

The latter (2.4) is often shortened to yonsun, which works okay mostly,
unless you have a 1.4.
