Hi Everyone - I'm selling a 2.6 jinashi shakuhachi Key
of A flat/G sharp. It's a John Niemi shakuhachi
(don't let that scare you) reworked by Perry Yung.
It's a beautiful 20 + year old piece of bamboo. It
has no laquer. It's one piece. It has a kinko
utaguchi.
The 1.8 is an old pre WW 2 shakuhachi. It's two
pieces. It's a tozan style utaguchi (I was told it's
Ivory). It has a very thin coat of laquer which is
coming off in a few places. There are two sliver
rings at the joint which I replaced with binding not
caring for the feel of the metal (I still have the
original rings and can easily be put back on). It's a
very dense piece of bamboo. I was told the Hanko
either says Jade Moon or Jade Fishes. I originally
purchased it from Ronnie Seldin around 8 years ago.
I am asking $550.00 for the 2.6 and $1650.00 for
the 1.8. Ten day audition period. I can email
pictures.

If anyone is interested you can call me on my cell
phone at 631-672-5698. You could also try my email
address: bblyman2000@yahoo.com. I only answer my
email once a week so my cell phone is the best bet.
Thanks and be well, Bob Blyman.
