[Shaku] The continuing saga of Peter Yates & Jin Nyodo

or, "who is this guy?"

continuing to poke at google and using "Peter Yates" and "Jin Nyodo"
as conjoined search strings led me to the collection of Peter Yates'
papers at UCSD. In them I found a postcard that travelled between
Yates and Jin sometime in the 1950s.

The postcard shows a Japanese(?) man, clearly *not* Jin, and some
caligraphy.

Anyone care to take a shot at what the caligraphy says? If it's
useful, I can get a much better quality copy of the image.
