Chihua Wen is a former editor and reporter for the Xinhua News Agency in Beijing. She earned an M.A. in Sociology from the University of California at San Diego and an M.A. in Asian Studies from San Diego State University. She is currently a freelance writer whose work is regularly published in both magazines and newspapers in China. Her work covers a wide variety of social issues in China. She also writes about cultural issues in the United States.
