Next time you face some difficulty, imagine that you face your
dying moment; imagine that you are actually dying.  How then do
you want to relate to the difficulty? From the perspective of the
dying moment, are you willing to be lost in confusion and reaction?
Do you want to avoid the moment, to hide from it? Or do you want
to be accepting, present, and alert?
