Iwao "Yoneya", he is the most famous Minyo shakuhachi player.
He has a school and many students. Minyo shakuhachi is very much in
demand than Honkyoku in Japan.

His professtional career was start at 1959 as a Minyo singer,
and learned shakuhachi from Hirokado Reifu.
