Hello All,
I'm writing on behalf of "Daita Nagauta Kai":a small group of
international musicians who are living and working/studying in Tokyo.
We share an interest in Nagauta music and Kabuki Theatre,and have
performed on numerous occasions in concert halls,temples....
and bars,our last concert being in March of this year.
This coming Fall, we plan to have a similar concert,but given the
sometimes transient nature of foreigners living in Tokyo,we are
seeking shakuhaci players who would like to perform with us.We plan to
perform several Nagauta and Jiuta pieces,in a temple in Setagaya
Daita in Tokyo,provisionally on November 25th.
We would warmly welcome shakuhachi players who would like to join
us for a memorable day of music.
