Hi group,
I feel much the same as Riley..
I have a 2.8 flute (ji-nashi) , that I am beginning to love, I think !!..
It has taken a while to accept the more "humble" volume that a ji-nashi
flute produces..
This is especially true for me, as I am basically a loud, gregarious,
out-going person (Have you ever noticed how a person's personality is
exactly reflected in the way that they play Shakuhachi ??!!.. In my case ,
my sloppiness, in general, comes into play !!)..
I have a bunch of ji-nashi (or more appropriately, as Riley said, "almost
ji-nashi") for sale..
Let me know if you are interested.. Or if you just want an up-to-date List
of Traditionally made Flutes (over 150, ranging from 1.3 to 3.1 in length),
just send me your email:
Take Care,
