Attention New York City Shakuhachi Players and Listeners:
There is a peace event happening today (Sunday 16) in Prospect Park,
Brooklyn. Kyo Shin An Shakuhachi Dojo (headed by James Nyoraku Schlefer)
will be blowing honkyoku starting at 2:00 P.M. We will be located
somewhere in the long meadow, exact spot to be determined depending on
what else is happening. Listen for the flutes.
Any shakuhachi players who would like to participate are invited, as are
listeners. Notation and music stands will be provided. There will be
many other peace promoting activities going on in the park as well.
We hope to see you there.
