I should have added that humidity seems to be a factor as well--for me a more humid climate means
a better sound, and in the desert I find the sound to be as dry as the air. Probably because
wetter air is thicker. And I think Stav's original question was about the quality of his sound,
not the pitch, which I don't think matters at all as long as you're playing in tune with your ro.
