My current intention is to write a script that removes the @ from
all email addresses in the archive and replaces them with a GIF
image of the same symbol. People won't be able to click on an
email address in the archive and have it fire up a usable outgoing
email message, but they will be able to read the address and type it
in manually.
This will keep the list searchable by google and other webcrawlers
but nullify the address' usefulness to harvesters.
The job will take a while, as it is just a bit beyond my programming
skills.
But growth is a good thing.
