oops, sorry; I may have inadvertantly given cork grease a "bad name"; I
didn't mean to imply that it had any corrosive effects on the lacquer,
just that since it served the proper mechanical purpose, i.e. taking
apart/putting together my flutes withough any bending or twisting
(thanks to Ed Beaty for calrifying this for me) the only problems I
could think of re. using it might be any material effect it might have
on the flute (i.e. on the urushi, bamboo,...). Since some have advocated
against it's use I was just fishing for any information on whether or
not anybody knew that to be the case.
