Yes, I'd recommend at least some kind of filter. (I don't mean to keep on
about this, but another consideration came to mind immediately after I sent
my last post.) Pictures may seem relatively innocuous (issues of size,
appearance, etc., notwithstanding), but what if someone sends executables or
batch files (undisguised, or not)? - meaning trojans and viruses. I hope
there's a filter for something like that already. Not allowing attachments
(at least without some prior review by the moderator, say) seems to me like
the safest, as well as the politest, netiquette.
