Please join us for the first student concert from the bay area
shakuhachi school! An informal gathering featuring some of my
students (several more are unavailable or too shy to take part),
sharing their interest in the beautiful ancient japanese bamboo flute

Many of my students will be performing folk songs, honkyoku
(classical buddhist pieces for shakuhachi) and 20th century pieces by
Fukuda Rando and Bela Bartok.
