<html><div style='background-color:'><P>FYI, I haven't had the problem with shakuhachis but I have with Native American flutes that have had what TSA considered birds/fetishes that are too sharp and then there was the time that TSA took from checked luggage one NA flute and never returned it out in California. . . Other than that, when TSA scans my flute case, they mutter to themselves asking are those wind chimes or fishing poles? Quite often they have to taken everything out of my flute case and you have to watch them like an eagle to make sure they don't damage anything.</P>
