Dear Shakuhachi list,

I rarely place a message on this listserve especially when there have been a lot of posts that did not add to much light shining anywhere..

Much of this could have been avoided, I believe, if we could remember to have a compassionate listening for one another, breathe deep, calm ourselves and consider stillness /silence as an attribute/practice even as the Chinese monk/ poet did or at the very least play our flute. Playing at least takes our fingers away from typing in emails.

But, you'll find me out there in the mountains on the old wooden bench playing with the Spring Wind. Drop by sometime. Perhaps we can harmonize.

Soft Winds,
