Hello Jeff,
I just recorded a new CD with koto player Satomi Saeki with a label in
Montreal which will be out in the summer (hopefully.) She recorded
Midare as solo. Just for your interest we also recorded:
Chidori no Kyoku (koto and shakuhachi w/out vocals)
Rokudan no Shirabe (as duet with shakuhachi and koto)
Shoganken Reibo (koten honkyoku)
Aki no Koto no Ha (koto/koto duet)
Sagawa (koto solo)
Sekisetsu (shakuhachi solo)
Fuyu Momiji (shakuhachi/ koto duet)
By the way, on the album, Evening Snow, by Tani Senzan and Tanaka Yoko,
Midare is played as a solo koto piece, not a duet with shakuhachi and
koto as it is written on the Komuso.com website. Ron, you may want to
correct that.
