That works, but the joint is still the weakest spot
even if glued. if dropped and the flute lands just
right the joint will crack even if glued together.
one piece is always better than 2 unless you want to
take it apart to store or travel with better. Another
plus with a one piece is that while playing late at
night you have a decent weapon in your hands.... :)
