I haven't noticed this, but I have noticed that I feel like I have a a
better, fuller, shakuhachi sound, after a lot of strenuous saxophone
playing. I believe that this is due to my lips being tired, resulting in a
more relaxed embouchure. When I'm not as tired, my embouchure tends to be
too tight, more like the embouchure I use when playing assorted side-blown
flutes.
