Celebrate the 4th of July weekend with some new reworkings of the great com=
poser, Charles Ives, the great grandfather of the American avant garde musi=
c scene.
Ives recieved much of his inspiration from his fellow New England copatriot=
authors, Thoreau and Emerson and his own music and writings clearly put hi=
m in the American transcendentalist tradition. These guys were warning us 1=
00 years ago of the corporate takeover of America.
Ives was a true american patriot who who loved his country and hated his g=
overnment.
