Re: [Shaku] amusing breakthrough

I think if developed it very well could open up some interesting doors
musically. On January 1, 2006, in New York City the Asia Society held an
event sponsored by the Japan Foundation called “Hogaku: New Sounds of
Japan”.One of the performing Japanese groups is called Hanya Teikoku, a
young professional shakuhachi trio. One song that apperently the audience
loved was one where they sang/chanted the Hanya Shingyo (Heart Sutra) while
playing the shakuhachi. Keep experimenting with your new found sounds.
