Thank you, Kyosei, for letting us know about Ronnie's sickness and hospitali=

I met Ronnie about sixteen years ago at a Yoshio Kurahashi concert at the Ha=
rvard Yenching library. =C2=A0Eventually I became one of his occasional stud=
ents and then traveled with him on one of his shakuhachi tours to Japan.=20=
=C2=A0I don't know of anyone who works harder to promote the vision and beau=
ty of the Sui-Zen tradition. =C2=A0I'm grateful for Ronnie's presence in our=
 broken world, and I pray for his quick recovery and for his long-term healt=
h and well-being.
