When Masa Yoshizawa died in '07, he left a lot of scores. I have
been cataloging these scores and creating websites that list them in
a manner that non-Japanese speakers like myself can use to figure
out what a particular score might be.
These "catalogs" are on the web at:
http://communication.ucsd.edu/bjones/Kanji/
My strategy has been to arrange them by the kind of score they are -
sankyoku or shinkyoku (honkyoku scores are shown elsewhere) - and the
number of characters in the title. Not entirely unambiguous, but it
seems to be working fairly well.
This week I'm laid up with the flu and, with some free time on my hands,
I'm turning back to that work. Leafing through my website and the scores,
I found 15 scores that I don't know the titles of. I have them online at
http://communication.ucsd.edu/bjones/KS-Unk/
If you're perusing the site and see something that needs correction,
or have time to review my unknowns, I'd appreciate your comments.
Thanks!
