The mission is to provide a "trading post" where musicians exchange piano ensemble music from
 both countries and promote friendship and mutual understandings through unforgettable performances.

   Ensemble with Shaluhachi, Koto, Shamisen, Soprano and Piano
      Shakuhachi, Shigeo Tachibana, Koto, Shirley Muramoto
      Brian Wong, Shamisen, Takae Hirano, Soprano, Masayuki Toyo-oka, Piano.

The Gala Concert on June 25 (Fri) 7:30PM will feature piano ensembles with other instruments. Shigeo Tachibana,
 Shakuhachi (bamboo flute), and Masayuki Toyo-oka, piano, joined by Joseph Gold, violin and cellist August Lee,
 will present rarely heard pieces, blending music from the East and the West.
