Hi Antonio,
I just started my attempts at making shakuhachis. It is a major
task, making a decent one that is. But, in a strange way, I'm finding
the process of making a flute almost as meditative as playing one. You
might want to try Ken LaCosse's book at
http//members.aol.com/emptyflute/ along with Monty's. These are the
only two books that I have and they are very helpful.
