It does seem ironic to spend $1000.00 plus and then keep it in a plastic bag.
Most people not involved with a shakuhachi would probably laugh.
An air tight, humidty controlled display case would really be nice to have.
(save the plastic for traveling)
Currently, I use the bag that Monty Levenson sells. It looks good and has a
vapor barrier.
